Why my teeth is yellow and broken at tip?
ok, i think u need a dentist! But it is most prob a case of calcium deficiency. Drink more milk at the same time ~
Reply:i dont know.... maybe because of what youre eating?... but, why dont you ask your dentist....
Reply:You also need more flouride that strengthens the enamel.

Yellow because maybe you are drinking too much softdrinks, or coffee or cigarettes...

They all make ur teeth yellow and lose strength.
Reply:well the shade could b the natural shade of ur teeth, or u might not b keepin it well, or u might b takin foods n drinks tat causes staining. n broken tip could b attrition of ur teeth or it could hve broken whn biting any hard stuff or if u hve any habits such as bruxism or clenching. every1 can say different things over here on the net, but its best to seek ur dentist advice cos he would b able to give u more accurate info by examining ur condition. rest of us dont knw ur condition without havin a look at it.
Reply:well , it may be natural yellow or it may be your wrong activity to handle them . if u have bad habits ie. biting hard things or not brushing properly or eating such things badly which r senstive to teeths , avoid these bad habits , be allert and brush ur teeths properly twice a day %26amp; make a wash ur mouth after every meal to make ur teeths healthy %26amp; strong. if possible massage ur teeth with salt mixed in mustard oil once a week .

broken tips may be accidental case or due to bad activity or eating hard substances , so avoid such activities.if possible contact a good dentist for assistance but overall improve ur daily routine with the suggestions given to u .

thanks.

Reply:this is mabye because you drink a lot of coffee or tea. and the breaking of your tip could be because your teeth are very weak so you should consult a dentist and don%26#039;t eat hard things

Broken Tooth...?

I was playing basketball with my friend, he jumped to shoot, I jumped to pack(block)...

My elbow collided with his front tooth (left one from my point of view), and it broke in half.. His tooth kind of scratched my elbow...

So we found his tooth on the ground, my elbow is bleeding... It was broken in half and I don%26#039;t think there was much blood on his broken tooth that was still in the gum... He think its a permanent tooth...

Will the dentist be able to fix his tooth so it stays on? Like with porcelain... Because when I broke my tooth biking a chip came out and they covered it up with porcelain.. Will the same happen to him?... (He is 13..)

Thanks

Broken Tooth...?
The dentist will be able to fix the tooth with no problems. He won%26#039;t have to have it pulled or an implant inserted.....he wil be fine. You, on the other hand, should make sure you put antibiotic ointment on your arm because a human mouth is full of germs and a scratch or cut from someone%26#039;s teeth can cause you some major problems if not taken care of properly.
Reply:u r on the rite track nearly the same darn thing happened to my son he will b fine and the porcelain is what they will do u r a good friend hope ur arms better
Reply:i had a friend who broke her front teeth in a pool and she just went to the dentist and got a filler put in for awhile but to make it permanent your friend will probably have to get caps
Reply:The dentist will be able to fix it in less than 5 minutes.
Reply:depends, if it is permenant, the doc will adhere either porcelain or composite (tooth colored filling) onto the tooth. if the tooth is knocked clean off in half, the chances of it being adhered back together are slim to none. your friend may need a root canal prior to having it fixed. no biggie though, since it wasn%26#039;t an infected tooth it won%26#039;t be as bad as i%26#039;m sure he thinks it is. root canals only hurt when the tooth is infected (because of Ph levels and anesthetic not taking). but he does need to go to the doc if he can see pink tissue (pulp or root) on the edge of his tooth... this could be extremely painful for him. make sure you get checked out too since your skin was broken as well. if your friend has a health condition such as hepititis you have a chance of contracting it.
Reply:His tooth can be fixed with a root canal and crown or an implant. Take him to the dentist right away so the Dr. can give u the best diagnosis for the repair of his tooth. He%26#039;s still young so he might just get away with a root cnal and crown.
Reply:It depends on the severity of the case. The dentist will have to determine the type of treatment.

My NHS dentist fitted 2 oversized bridges 1st cracked/lost 2nd broke teeth below. Distraught where do I turn?

After 1st bridge refitted due gum recession, was told to wait a month to affect oversize it only lasted 2 weeks. Asked for implant referral was sent dental hospital on 6 month waiting list were they don’t offer implants and they said referral was for a plate. I had two ill fitting plates made at my dentist due huge loss. I went my dentist again as an abscess remarked on 9 months earlier swelled and caused great pain. I was given the strongest antibiotic made as over years of treatment antibiotics were issued at nearly every occasion. My 2nd bridge was loose and the temporary to final replacement put so much pressure on lower bridge another abscess was created. Shards of the removed bridge were found between my front teeth in the evening. The final fitting was postponed as the bridge was not correct to my dentist’s standards but it was fitted anyway as a temporary to be removed in two weeks. This one fitted well and left the promised correction to other work open. The final fitting was delayed as my dentist had a holiday but it still took an hour and a half of extreme effort to remove, the back of my head was numb for another hour. The bridge was as before oversized and eliminated possible correction to previous work. My panic at its destruction had me call at least six times over many months and despite the previous bridges fitting this one could not be reduced further. A plate was created to even the pressure and be worn while sleeping but when fitting was reduced too much and ineffective. I believed the lower bridge broken as it was loose and becoming worse but I was told not. A last emergency appointment of 3 weeks had me attend the dental clinic as an emergency. I had been waiting since February for an appointment as requested of my dentist but a phone call suggested neither 2 said attempts had been received. I had asked the receptionist if I could attend the hospital without referral she said no. The emergency’ option must have slipped her mind as had the hospital not offering implants though she did state a year later that I couldn’t afford it as reason for subterfuge. The correct implant referral was made after 13 months of my request, the price quadrupled. Decay to the area of the 2nd abscess and pressure to the bridge had broken it. The hospital does implants for car crash victims and extreme cases as a special case I can only hope my luck will change but I am in pain the bridge very loose as is are another three teeth and I need a root canal. My dentist capped every tooth over and over till they fell out. Then the rules changed payment was no longer on work done but on time taken like an hour and a halt to remove a temporary bridge. I have tried to change my dentist but as the shape of my mouth has been lost nobody wanted to know.

Unfortunately this is always a risk when you have bridgescrowns ect but they dont normally tell you. I unfortunately also had this problem. I think that you should go back to the same dentist and ask what he can do to help. Other then that you could try private treatment but that will be very expensive

It all sounds very dodgy! Suggest you contact the Dental Practice board and the AVMA (Action for the Victims of Medical Accidents) for further advice.

If you have a broken tooth what should i do?

i have a few broken teeth. i am not sure what caused it. i brush my teehth about 4 times a day. it started 1 year after i had my 4th child. can i just get a cap or do i have to get a crown. cant i get partial dentures. which one is better. i dont want and cant afford expensive procedure.

If you have a broken tooth what should i do?
Go see a dentist to see what can be done.

He/she may just file it down. I chipped a tooth during my 20s and the dentist I had then filed it down.
Reply:Caps and crowns are the same thing. And they are not cheap. But you will have them for many many years. My first ones are 25 years old.

For a fill in denture they pull the broken ones and make one or two to fill the space and they attach over the next solid molar on each side.

I have one (a triple) that fills in for one that was pulled and is permanently attached to a molar on each side. The I have about 9 other crowns.

A crown is made by grinding down the remainder of the tooth into a peg and a tooth is made to cement to it. They look just like yours.

Usually a Dentist will take payment. I made payments for years.

Do your family members have poor quality teeth? Dental quality runs in a family. Brushing your teeth 10 times a day will not make them stronger.

Swishing with Hydrogen Peroxide at least once a day will keep your gums healthy. I have swished and brushed with it for 40 years, I have great gums and (thanks to crowns) OK teeth.
Reply:This is something that you need to talk to your dentist about as to what needs to be done to get them fixed. But I can tell you one thing that I would not do! I have had this done it the past and IF I had the chance to do it again, I would not do it. Do not get partial dentures for any reason what so ever. That is the worst thing that anybody could ever do, that is my opinion. Why you ask? Well here is why...I got mine (lower) several years ago. As you know, the partial has to be attached to something in your mouth to hold them in. They are attached to your other teeth with wires. Well over a period of time, with the wire moving most of the time, it %26quot;wears%26quot; on the good teeth, which in turn wears them out. Then you have to get them fixed as well. Like I said, I had a partial and have had to get the others that it was connected to it fixed about once every 2 or 3 years. I am now loosing those 2 teeth because of the partial. I have heard many people saying that this happens to them as well. Even the dentist will tell you the same thing as I have now. I have not wore my partial in several years now. After my dentist told me this, I took it out and never wore it again. I can eat what I want to as well with out the partial. I can%26#039;t speak for the upper, just the lower.
Reply:you need to get crowns. And you don%26#039;t want to get partials unless you really have to. They can cause a lot of problems and once your own teeth are taken out there is no turning back. Have you had blood work done to see why your teeth have suddenlly started to break?
