Can teeth that have broken off or decayed through disease be removed without oral surgery>?

By oral surgery, do you mean, put to sleep for it? If so, than yes. They will get you nice %26amp; numb and take out the tooth and you can be completley awake for it. Often times, dentists will refer doesn%26#039;t like removing teeth or it will be a difficult tooth to remove %26amp; they%26#039;d rather have a specialist do it. You can meet with the oral surgeon %26amp; discuss either being awake or being asleep. Hope this answers your question. Good Luck!

Can teeth that have broken off or decayed through disease be removed without oral surgery%26gt;?
Step 1. Find a decent sized pair of plyers.

Step 2. Clean plyers.

Step 3. Clamp plyers around too..

You see where I%26#039;m getting at?
Reply:Yes they can. See your dentist and tell him what you want. Also, some dentists now specialize in fraidy-cats. Really. They give you a pill (not gas, not shots) to calm you down, and they can do most procedures in the office with no trouble. Go NOW! Teeth don%26#039;t heal; your dentist won%26#039;t make fun of you or think you%26#039;re an idiot for neglecting them. They just want you to have better health.

You%26#039;ll be %26#039;way happier after.
Reply:If your teeth have broken off or decayed through disease, this sounds serious indeed. Your dentist should remove any portions of the tooth or teeth that still remain in the gum area. This is something left best to a dentist. You may not have to have actual oral SURGERY but you probably will have to have a root canal for the decay and some other probing type dental work for the broken tooth or teeth. Bacteria living in the mouth can and will multiply exponentially and could very well cause serious mouth diseases and even heart problems later on if this problem is not handled quickly. Good luck, dear.
Reply:You should go to a dentist... I think they numb that area, very good... If need Oral Surgery, its not too bad, they just put you to sleep, and it gets done faster, and less tramatizing, as you won%26#039;t hear the drill, and you feel no pain till a few hours later...

-I found that out, when I got my wisdom teeth out, its not too bad

Hope this helps :-)
Reply:NO that is dangerous and will lead to more tooth loss
