It is rite in the front in got broke when i bit and i missed my food and i hit the bracket. My next appointment is September 17 can i wait all the way till then since July 12. Will it mess up my teeth or what will happen. It doesnt bother me so does it matter if i go?
I have a broken bracket on my front teeth does it matter if i get it fixed?
I would make an appointment and get it back on soon but it is your choice if you want to wait until your next appointment and sit for a month with a broken bracket, then go ahead because it won%26#039;t hurt your teeth but it won%26#039;t help your teeth either.
Reply:if it doesnt bother you then dont go.
but if you dont get it fixed quickley you will have your braces on longer
Reply:I have braces right now and I%26#039;m told that if I have a broken bracket or something is wrong with my braces then I have to call right away to make an appointment as soon as possible. If you don%26#039;t, then that may cause you to have your braces on longer.
Reply:The same thing happened to me yesterday and I%26#039;ve made an appointment to get it fixed. You should get it fixed, if not your braces will be on longer and your teeth will be moving, but not that one tooth. Braces move fast, you don%26#039;t want them straight but that one crooked. You should getit fixed.
Reply:Even if it doesnt bug you, you STILL need to get it fixed. The longer it%26#039;s broken, the longer ull have to wait till they%26#039;re removed. Other %26quot;braced%26quot; teeth may move into that tooth since nothing is now holding it in place.
Reply:you should go and get it fixed as soon as possible. since that bracket isnt there anymore, it has loosened the wire, which is now allowing for all your other teeth to move. just think- if you dont get it fixed now, your teeth will have a month and a half to move, most likely in the wrong direction. now, it might take twice as long to fix the problem that wouldnt have been there if you were to have just gotten it replaced in the first place.
